Schema.org
Definition. Schema.org is the shared vocabulary for structured data, maintained collaboratively by Google, Microsoft, Yahoo and Yandex. It defines the types and properties, such as Article, Product and FAQPage, that markup uses.
Schema.org defines far more types than any search engine supports for rich results. Using an unsupported type is harmless but produces no visible feature.
Google's structured data documentation, not schema.org itself, is the reference for which types produce results in Google Search.
