How to use it
- Paste the draft as plain text Headings on their own lines, list items starting with a dash or a number. The scorer reads structure, so structure matters.
- Fix the failed checks in order of weight Answer-first opening, concrete data and real citations carry the most weight, because those are the signals that decide whether a passage is quotable.
- Add the thing only you can write First-hand testing, your own numbers, your own screenshots. This is the check most drafts fail and the one that no summary can replace.
- Re-score, then publish A score above 80 means the structure is not the problem. It says nothing about whether the content is correct, which is your job.
How the numbers work
Everything here runs in JavaScript in your browser. No input is sent anywhere, nothing is stored, and there is no account, no email gate and no export limit. The maths is deliberately simple so you can check it: where a benchmark is used, the source is named on the page rather than hidden behind a "based on industry data" claim.
Where this calculator uses published research, it uses these: the position-CTR meta-analysis from First Page Sage (updated May 2025), the 34.5% AI Overview click reduction measured by Ahrefs across 300,000 keywords, and Pew Research Center's click-behaviour study. Tool prices come from vendor pricing pages read on 2 August 2026. All of them are averages, and averages are a starting point, not a forecast: your own Search Console data beats every benchmark on this page.
Frequently asked questions
What makes content citable by AI?
A clear direct answer near the top, self-contained sections that make sense out of context, concrete data with sources, and something a summary cannot reproduce. Analyses of AI citations consistently find that the earlier part of an article is quoted far more often than the rest.
Does this guarantee I will be cited?
No. It checks structure, which is necessary and not sufficient. Being cited also depends on your site being crawlable, being mentioned on third-party sources the engines trust, and being right.
Is my content uploaded anywhere?
No. The analysis runs entirely in JavaScript in your browser. There is no request, no storage and no account.
